I have been a fervent gamer all my life. I’ve experimented with every type of game under the sun. I’ve played video games from the Nintendo Entertainment System to the Play Station 4. I’ve played in athletic sports from soccer to racing cross country. I’ve played tabletop games from most card games to Dungeons & Dragons. Now as an adult I’m driven to find out what makes a game great. For now this interest has driven me to toy with GameMaker, which I hope to post my platformer up here when it is finished. I also try to run the best game I can for my players in Dungeons & Dragons. I have even begun to write up my campaign in a book I hope to post on DM’s Guild some day. For now I have a narrative overview, which I submitted to Dael Kingsmill’s gamowrimo, a November writing challenge for Dungeons & Dragons content, which is attached below. I hope it at least inspires you to run Dungeons & Dragons!
